Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy governs your use of the Quantum Solutions platform. It forms part of the Terms of Service, and defined terms used there have the same meaning here.
It applies to you, to everyone you invite into your organisation, and to anything you or they upload, send, or generate through the service.
We keep this policy on its own page so we can update it as new forms of abuse appear, without asking every customer to re-accept the Terms. Material changes are notified as described in the Terms.
1. Prohibited content
You may not use the service to store, send, or distribute content that:
- is unlawful, or promotes or facilitates unlawful activity;
- infringes another party's intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights;
- is defamatory, harassing, threatening, or abusive;
- depicts or promotes the sexual exploitation or abuse of children;
- promotes violence, terrorism, or discrimination against any group;
- contains malware, ransomware, or any code designed to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to a system;
- misrepresents its origin, or impersonates any person or organisation, including us.
2. Prohibited conduct
You may not:
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service, another customer's data, or any related system or network;
- probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service, or breach or circumvent any security or authentication measure, without our prior written consent;
- interfere with or disrupt the service, including by overwhelming it with requests;
- access the service by automated means beyond the documented API, or scrape, harvest, or systematically extract data from it;
- resell, sublicense, or make the service available to any third party except as expressly permitted in the Terms;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service, except where that restriction is prohibited by law;
- publish benchmark or performance results without our prior written consent;
- share account credentials, or allow more individuals to use the service than your plan's seat limit permits;
- use the service to send unsolicited bulk communications, or to send any communication that would breach applicable anti-spam law.
2.1 Responsible disclosure
We welcome security research conducted in good faith. If you believe you have found a vulnerability, report it to security@quantumsolutions.dev before taking any action that would otherwise breach this section. We will not pursue a claim against a researcher who reports in good faith, gives us a reasonable opportunity to respond, and does not access, modify, or retain another customer's data.
3. Invoicing and customer communications
The service lets you issue invoices and communicate with your own customers. You are responsible for those communications and their content. In particular, you may not use the service to:
- issue invoices for goods or services that were not supplied, or that you are not entitled to charge for;
- pursue a debt by means that would breach applicable consumer-protection or debt-collection law;
- contact a recipient who has withdrawn consent, where consent is the basis for contacting them;
- misstate your identity, the nature of the supply, or the applicable tax treatment.
You are the sender of, and responsible for, every invoice you issue. We provide tooling, not tax, accounting, or legal advice.
4. Restricted business activities
You may not use the service in connection with:
- any activity prohibited by applicable sanctions, export control, or anti-money-laundering law;
- any business in which you, your beneficial owners, or your customers are subject to sanctions administered by the United Nations, the European Union, the United Kingdom, the United States, or Sri Lanka;
- the sale of illegal goods or services, or goods or services whose sale is unlawful in the buyer's jurisdiction;
- pyramid schemes, matrix schemes, or other arrangements whose returns depend principally on recruitment.
If you are unsure whether your business is affected, ask us at hello@quantumsolutions.dev before you begin.
5. Fair use and system limits
The service applies rate limits and quotas to keep it available for everyone. You may not attempt to evade them, whether by rotating credentials, distributing requests across accounts, or otherwise.
Plan limits — including the number of members and customers your plan permits — are contractual limits, not merely technical ones. Exceeding them, or arranging your use to appear to stay within them, is a breach of this policy.
6. Your responsibility for your users
You are responsible for the conduct of everyone you invite into your organisation, and for the content they upload. If you become aware of a breach of this policy within your organisation, you must act promptly to stop it and tell us at hello@quantumsolutions.dev.
7. How we enforce this policy
Where we believe this policy has been breached, we will normally:
- Notify you and give you a reasonable opportunity to fix the problem;
- Suspend the affected feature, user, or organisation if the problem is not fixed, or if it is serious;
- Terminate the agreement in accordance with the Terms of Service.
We may skip straight to suspension or termination where the breach is severe, where it exposes us or another customer to legal liability or security risk, or where the law requires it. Where we suspend without notice, we will tell you as soon as we reasonably can and explain what is needed to restore access.
Suspension does not relieve you of the obligation to pay fees for the period of suspension where the suspension resulted from your breach.
8. Reporting abuse
To report a breach of this policy, email hello@quantumsolutions.dev. To report a security vulnerability, email security@quantumsolutions.dev. Please include enough detail for us to identify and reproduce the problem.
