Invoicing is live today, on every plan including the free one. You can raise an invoice from your own catalogue of line items, apply tax and payment terms, send it to a customer, and get paid by card into your own merchant account — without the money taking a detour through us.
That last part is the bit we care most about, and it is the reason this took as long as it did.
Your gateway, your money
Most invoicing tools that accept card payments do so through their own payment account. Your customer pays the tool; the tool pays you, on its own schedule, minus its own cut.
We do it the other way round. You connect your payment gateway, and settlement goes straight to your merchant account. We never hold your money, which means there is no payout schedule to wait on and no second set of fees between your customer and you. It also means the commercial relationship with your acquirer stays yours — including the rates you negotiated.
The trade is that you need a gateway of your own. For a business already taking card payments that is a configuration step. For one that is not, it is a real piece of setup, and we would rather be honest about that than hide it behind a signup flow.
A portal for the people who owe you money
Every customer you invite gets their own account. They can see what they owe, save a payment method, and pay — without emailing you to ask for the invoice again, and without you chasing.
This is quietly the most useful part of the product. Chasing late payments is not really a reminders problem; it is a friction problem. Most invoices are paid late because paying is mildly inconvenient at the moment someone thinks about it. A saved card and a link removes most of that.
What it does today
- Raise and send invoices from a reusable catalogue of line items
- Take card payments through your own gateway, in the currencies it supports
- Issue full or partial credit notes, with tax back-calculated correctly on every adjustment — see our guide to credit notes
- Refund settled invoices
- Invite colleagues as members or admins, with roles deciding who can raise, refund or reconfigure
- Give every customer their own portal
What it does not do yet
It does not do your bookkeeping, it does not file your taxes, and it does not chase on your behalf beyond the reminders it sends. We would rather ship a product that does a small number of things properly than a longer feature list that mostly works.
Pricing
The free plan is a real plan, not a trial — it covers genuine invoicing for a small team. Pro raises the limits and adds integrations, with a 14-day trial that does not ask for a card. Compare the plans.
What is next
More of the suite, built outward from here and sharing the same account, the same customer list and the same permissions you have already set up. We are not going to name or date those yet. A roadmap you cannot keep is worse than no roadmap, particularly in software that handles other people's money — so we will announce each one when it is ready to use.

Why we let you bring your own payment gateway
Most invoicing tools take your customers' payments into their own account and pay you later. We don't hold your money at all — you connect your own gateway and settle directly. Here is the reasoning, and the trade-off.
Chasing late payments — a practical playbook
Late payment is usually a friction problem, not a willingness problem. Invoice immediately, send a reminder before the due date, make paying one click, and escalate on a fixed schedule rather than on how you feel.
Free or Pro — which plan do you actually need?
The free plan is a real plan, not a trial. Stay on it until you hit a limit that costs you something. Move to Pro when you outgrow the member or customer limits, or need integrations.
